The California State University recognizes that individuals have different needs and has provided eligible employees the opportunity to apply for the right amount of protection for you and your family at very competitive group rates. Voluntary Accidental Death and Dismemberment covers you or your beneficiaries, in the event of death or dismemberment as a result of a covered accident. You may elect Voluntary AD&D coverage in the following amounts:
- $25,000
- $50,000
- $75,000
- $100,000
- $150,000
- $200,000
- $250,000
- $300,000
- $400,000
- $500,000
- $600,000
- $700,000
- $800,000
- $900,000
- $1,000,000
If you elect coverage for yourself, you may elect coverage for your dependents in the following amounts:
- Spouse/domestic partner only, 60 percent of your coverage
- Children only, 15 percent of your coverage for each child
- Spouse/domestic partner and children, 50 percent of our coverage for your Spouse/domestic partner and 10 percent for your coverage for each child. Coverage for children may not exceed $25,000
