Participating organizations represent a wide variety of focus areas including arts, culture, humanities, the environment, animal welfare, health, human services and more. Whether you're looking for a one-time volunteer opportunity or a longer-term commitment, the Volunteer Expo is a great way to connect with nonprofits and start making a difference.

“The nonprofit organizations featured at the Volunteer Expo have an invaluable impact on our communities, and they count on the public's support and involvement to achieve their missions,” said Greg Ness, chairman, president and CEO of The Standard. “At The Standard, we're proud to host the annual Volunteer Expos because when nonprofits and community members connect, everyone wins.”

The Volunteer Expo kicks off The Standard's annual Employee Giving Campaign. The campaign takes place in September and encourages company employees to support schools and nonprofit organizations of their choosing. The Standard matches those contributions up to $5,000 per employee. Last year, employees raised more than $4.4 million (including company matching funds), affecting more than 1,700 organizations. Connect with dozens of local nonprofit organizations.
