Changes to the GSI Maturities Process
We’re streamlining our maturities process to make it easier for our customers. For policyowners whose policies mature annually upon reaching their termination date, these changes reduce administrative steps and streamline premium processing for a smoother renewal experience.
New Process Highlights
- No signature required to confirm eligibility for annual renewal beyond the termination date
- One process for all GSI plans
- Proactive maturity processing — we’ll process renewals before the termination date
- Less maintenance for you — no need to track delivery or premium requirements before renewal
Eligibility requirements will remain the same for policyowners. To be eligible to renew a policy and keep it active, the policyowner must be working full time and must not be considered disabled under the terms of the policy. If a policyowner doesn’t meet these requirements, please contact us immediately to terminate coverage.
