We gave $1.1 million in corporate contributions from The Standard and grants from The Standard Charitable Foundation. That's a total of $5.5 million last year. As part of managing producer contracting and appointments, The Standard won't renew state appointments for producers who haven't submitted an application for more than 12 months in a state. If a producer without an appointment in a specific state submits an application, we’ll immediately reactivate the appointment in that state.

The Standard has amended the Platinum Advantage base contract to align more closely with the industry regarding medical treatment during a claim.
