The Jazz Society of Oregon ™ is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote jazz music in the Pacific Northwest. We seek to provide jazz education, build membership engagement through events and publications, provide scholarships to new and existing artists and programs that teach jazz music, and foster a greater appreciation of this indigenous art form.
What We Do
The Cathedral Park Jazz Festival is set for the 44th anniversary — July 19–21, 2024!
The line up features many artists and groups from across the Pacific Northwest and the country. As a free event, there are many opportunities to support the Festival — volunteering, cash donations and purchasing drinks from the beer and wine garden.
Our volunteer team sells merchandise and beverage tokens and pours beer and wine, plus many more fun things.
Volunteers receive a t-shirt and a volunteer meal.
