What We Do
The Children's Book Bank harnesses the power of the community in order to run our operations. Volunteers fix up our gently used books to make them as good as new before they go to their new homes.

Volunteers are key in our delivery of quality, used books to children throughout Multnomah County. The concept is simple. We take books that children have outgrown, make them like new and distribute them to programs serving children. We can see the power of books and the impact on children’s lives in every smile.
