Clackamas Service Center (CSC) strengthens community health through our innovative hunger relief work. Our volunteers play a crucial role at CSC as we work together to reduce barriers to food and health by offering diverse services to the community.
What We Do
Clackamas Service Center (CSC) is an inclusive, trauma-informed "one-stop-shop" where community members experiencing hunger and poverty can meet their basic food, health, and hygiene needs, and connect with supportive services to help them take their next steps toward stability. At CSC, we integrate food relief, health, and social services to expand our impact in the community. From delivering groceries to serving meals at our community center, CSC relies on a robust team of volunteers to drive our mission.

Opportunities
- In person: Ongoing
Since our founding in 1973, CSC has been a beacon of hope and stability for individuals and families with low incomes in the Portland area. These days, we serve many thousands of people each month, offering everything from fresh groceries, to hot showers, to mentorship and housing assistance for people who are currently houseless. If the past few years have taught us anything, it's that anyone, at any time, in any circumstance, could need a little extra help. Together with our volunteers and supporters, we build a stronger community safety net and a happier place for all of us to live.
