Classroom Law Project is a nonprofit organization of individuals, educators, lawyers and civic leaders working to equip students with the knowledge, essential skills and motivation to participate in our democracy.
What We Do
Classroom Law Project is Oregon’s leader in preparing youth to become active, engaged and informed participants in democratic society. In the 2019-2020 school year, we provided engaging professional development opportunities to more than 1,100 teachers and a wide variety of challenging, fun programs to over 144,000 students all around Oregon.

Now, more than ever, teaching our children civics is critical. This is why our unique programs teach students the values and skills essential to being a participant in our democracy and give their teachers the quality professional support they need. Last year we worked with more than 1,100 teachers, reaching over 144,000 students throughout Oregon, and volunteer support is critical to making that happen.
Volunteers help ensure that the next generation is prepared to participate fully in our democracy. Help us reach student and teachers around the state, and create the next generation of civic participants and leaders.
