We are dedicated to empowering students from low-income backgrounds to become college graduates. College Possible students are two times more likely to earn a college degree than their low-income peers.
What We Do
Through an intensive curriculum of coaching and support, College Possible students receive the tools and resources they need to earn admission to college and graduate. AmeriCorps coaches, the majority of whom are recent college graduates themselves, walk with students through topics including college exploration, financial preparation, and career pathways. At College Possible Oregon, we're supporting 1,600 students per year in six Portland metro area high schools, in rural high schools throughout the state of Oregon, and at 98 different colleges and universities. College Possible Oregon is one of the only programs in the state that supports students from their junior year of high school until they obtain a bachelor's degree, no matter how long it takes.
