Donate Life Northwest maintains the organ, eye and tissue donor registry for the state of Oregon. Through community events, education programs and an award-winning high school curriculum, we reach thousands of people throughout the PNW annually.
What We Do
Of the nearly 120,000 Americans waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant, more than 3,000 live in the Pacific Northwest. It is our vision to create a world in which no one has to wait for an organ, eye or tissue transplant. By educating and registering people in the Pacific Northwest about organ, eye, and tissue donation, Donate Life Northwest gives hope to those waiting for a transplant. Together with our community, Donate Life Northwest has registered over 2.5 million Oregonians to be organ, eye and tissue donors.

Something unique about our volunteers is that each and every one of them is a storyteller. When our volunteers are tabling at a community event, speaking in a high school, or creating a graphic design project, they are spreading the stories of donation and transplant. Whether our volunteers are a transplant recipient, a donor family/friend, or a supporter of donation, all have a unique perspective to share. Those stories are what make our work possible, because if someone hears one of those stories and it inspires them to register as a donor, then that person has the ability to save lives.
