What We Do
Our mission is to create space for collaboration, empowerment and the joyful celebration of community using movement and ensemble theater traditions, imaginative play, and aerial arts to help people of all abilities discover their potential, encourage perseverance and embrace their humanity. Echo Theater has served as a hub of arts and culture in the iconic Hawthorne District of Portland for over 30 years. ETC strives to shine a light on the strength in each one of us, and remind us that when we trust and rely on one another, we can accomplish the extraordinary.
Our multi-generational focus and accessible location makes us well-suited for volunteers of all ages and backgrounds. We are fun place for families and people of all developmental and physical disabilities to engage in community.
