Hoyt Arboretum Friends' mission is to maintain and improve Hoyt Arboretum and its tree collection for all people through advocacy, resources, and education.
What We Do
Hoyt Arboretum is Portland, Oregon's living museum of trees. Located in Washington Park on 189 ridge-top acres accessible by 12 miles of trails, more than 6,000 specimens from around the world grow here, including more than 2,000 species. To the local community, Hoyt Arboretum represents a unique setting for education, recreation, and reflection. To the world, Hoyt Arboretum is a critical partner in global conservation and scientific research.
