Creating Assets Savings and Hope (CASH) Oregon is a program of Metropolitan Family Service committed to the financial health of working families. Our IRS-certified volunteers provide accurate free tax preparation services to people that need it most.
What We Do
MFS-CASH Oregon provides the training and the resources to ensure our volunteers get the IRS certification needed to provide an accurate tax preparation service. No experience is necessary, only the desire to help those in need. Various roles available. Bilingual individuals a plus.
MFS-Project Linkage provides rides for older adults and people experiencing disability in North and Northeast Portland. Volunteers need to have five years of driving experience. We provide training and support in partnership with Ride Connection. The schedule is flexible, and you can give just one ride a month or many rides a week, depending on your schedule.
