What We Do
Business Week is a seven-day, on-campus, residential summer “camp” offering a project-based, experiential learning environment where students are challenged to create a business, collaborate and grow. Working in teams, students discover leadership skills and abilities they didn’t know they possessed. They gain a solid grounding in the basic principles of business. Students and parents alike describe Business Week participation as transformative.
What We Need
- Mentoring/Youth Development
Opportunities
- In person: One-time
Business Week is an immersive seven-day, on-campus, residential summer program designed for rising 10th-12th graders. Held at Oregon State University, students get a taste of the college experience as they stay in the dorms and live the life of a future college student. Students work collaboratively in teams, engaging in project-based experiential learning. They face the exciting challenge of creating a business from scratch, discovering their untapped leadership skills along the way. Check out oregonbusinessacademy.com to enroll or volunteer.
Business Week is more than just a summer program - it's an opportunity for high school students to develop skills and knowledge essential for success in college, career and life. Our goal is to inspire and equip the next generation of Oregon business leaders.
