REACH's mission is to create quality, affordable housing and opportunities for individuals, families and communities to thrive.
What We Do
REACH serves a diverse community of individuals, families with children, people with special needs, those impacted by houselessness and elders. Over 3,300 people make their home in a REACH community. Founded in 1982, REACH stewards over 2,700 affordable apartment homes across the Portland metropolitan region. Our focus includes affordable housing development and management, support services that increase the economic stability of our residents and free home repairs and accessibility upgrades for low-income senior and disabled homeowners.

The challenges of last year pushed all of us to be more flexible, more curious and more focused. In 2021, the world may still be turbulent, and REACH remains focused on our values and the important work we are doing to provide stable housing. Thank you to our community volunteers for giving your time and talents to organizations like REACH as we work together to respond to the needs of our communities so everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
