Rose Haven is a day shelter and community center serving women, children and gender non-conforming folks experiencing poverty, trauma and intersecting issues. Monday - Friday from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.
What We Do
Rose Haven is the only day shelter serving women, children amd gender diverse people in Portland. As night shelters are at capacity, our low-barrier drop-in model bridges the gaps in services. COVID-19 has severely strained social service programs, and we anticipate the number of people experiencing housing insecurity to escalate as the economic toll of this public health crisis evolves. As more people are pushed outside, we will continue to provide equitable access to care for those who are suffering from health disparities in our community.

The dedication of our staff, volunteers and donors is allowing Rose Haven to serve at an incredibly challenging time in our community and in our world. As the COVID-19 pandemic has taken an already strained social services system into extreme circumstances, we are playing an even more important role in helping women, children and gender diverse people who are suffering from homelessness, abuse and poverty in our community. This is a time of solidarity, and we thank you for being with us.
