Managing COVID-19 Vaccination Medical Exemptions

Do any of your clients have or plan to implement a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine policy? Our ADA team is here to support them with medical exemption requests they might receive in response to those policies. And it’s included for clients that have implemented our ADA Accommodation Services.

We’ve rolled out a process to assist employers with managing requests for medical exemptions due to an employee’s disability as defined by the ADAAA. A designated ADAAA Accommodation Specialist will review information from the employee and medical provider to enable your client to make the decision to approve or deny the exemption request. We’ll send the decision correspondence to the employee, and track all cases, associated correspondence, forms and outcomes for your clients.

And as they plan for more potential vaccine requirements in 2022, The Standard’s trusted partner, Health Advocate, will be offering clients a great solution for vaccine tracking.
