Washington law (WAC 284-180-325) requires that carriers must post on their website information that identifies each health care benefit manager contracted with the carrier and identify the services provided by the health care benefit manager.
A health care benefit manager is any person or entity that provides services to or acts on behalf of a health carrier or employee benefits program. HCBMs directly or indirectly impact the determination or use of benefits for or patient access to health care services, drugs and supplies.
The following health care benefit managers are contracted to provide the listed functions to Ameritas, The Standard's partner for dental and vision services.
