The Standard Earns Equality 100 Award
The national survey evaluates organizations on workplace equality for LGBTQ+ employees.
The Standard recently scored 100% on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2025 Corporate Equality Index, the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to workplace equality for LGBTQ+ people.
The CEI is administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation — the educational arm of America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for LGBTQ+ people. The Standard joins 765 U.S. businesses that will be honored with the Equality 100 Award as leaders in LGBTQ+ inclusion.
“We are honored to be recognized by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation with the Equality 100 Award for LGBTQ+ inclusion,” said Susan Bruechner, vice president of Human Resources. “We are proud of our inclusive culture that prioritizes people and ensures that every employee — at all levels of the company — feels the freedom to be fully who they are. We value employees for the unique life experiences and perspectives they contribute to our culture.”
The results of the 2025 CEI showcase the continued growth in the number of U.S.-based companies implementing inclusive workplace policies and practices for LGBTQ+ employees in the U.S. and abroad. This year’s CEI includes 1,449 businesses — the highest number of rated companies since the start of the CEI in 2002.
The CEI rates companies on detailed criteria that fall under four central pillars:
- Non-discrimination policies across business entities
- Equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families
- Supporting an inclusive culture
- Corporate social responsibility
