Paul Garofoli Receives NAILBA Award

Paul Garofoli, our regional sales director for annuities, recently received the Independent Distribution 20 Award from the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies.

The NAILBA ID 20 award honors industry innovators and trailblazers in leadership roles. It specifically calls out those who show a strong passion for and commitment to independent distribution.

“NAILBA sought nominations from the industry via social media and direct email,” said Dan LaBert, CEO of NAILBA. An industry committee chose 20 recipients from more than 50 nominations.

Paul joined The Standard’s Annuities team in June. Based in Texas, he works with our marketing organizations and advisors across the country.

“Paul’s ties to independent marketing organizations run deep,” said Rich Lane, vice president of sales and marketing, individual annuities. “He’s consistently contributed to our industry and is known for his relationship-building and agency support. Those are some of the reasons I asked him to join my team. This recognition is well-deserved.”
