The Standard Honored for Corporate Giving

Each year, the Portland Business Journal celebrates businesses and nonprofit organizations who partner to meet community needs. This year, the publication’s Corporate Philanthropy Awards recognized The Standard in the enterprise category.

The Corporate Philanthropy Awards honors the top-10 corporate giving programs in four categories:

  • Small. Companies with under $10 million annual revenue.
  • Medium. Companies with $10 million to $50 million annual revenue.
  • Large. Companies with $50 million to $100 million annual revenue.
  • Enterprise. Companies with more than $100 million annual revenue.

The Portland Business Journal measures giving by total cash contributions in the Portland metro community. The Standard is proud to have made the list as No. 9 in the enterprise category. The Standard and The Standard Charitable Foundation contributed $2.9 million in Oregon and SW Washington in 2018. The company focuses its corporate giving in four categories: healthy communities, disability and empowerment, cultural development, and education and advancement.
