The Volunteer Expo is a pillar of The Standard's Employee Giving Campaign. This year-round initiative encourages employees to donate to support schools and nonprofit organizations.
The Standard and our parent organization Meiji Yasuda double match employee contributions. In 2023, we raised more than $5.5 million for more than 2,562 organizations during the Employee Giving Campaign.

Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We are on a quest to bring every eligible child's wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Wishes are usually in one of four categories: Meet, Go, Have, or Be and research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. Since 1983, Make-A-Wish Oregon has granted the wishes of more than 5,200 children living in Oregon, and Clark County, Washington.
